Hi, I'm Katy-
the creative heart behind Accessorize Decor and Staging. My background started in style and design long before staging homes. I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor's Degree in Apparel Merchandising & Design, where I fell in love with the details that make something feel special. Over the years, that passion naturally evolved into interior styling, home decorating, and creating inviting spaces that feel both beautiful and livable.
In 2021, I earned my Real Estate license, which gave me a deeper understanding of how design can directly impact the market- how the right layout, colors, textures and finishing touches can change how a buyer feels in a home. My approach to staging is thoughtful and intentional, focusing on flow, comfort and that "this feels like home" moment.
My husband and I also own Elliott Painting & Remodeling, Inc., and together we've been helping clients transform houses into homes through renovation, custom updates and fresh paint. That experience has allowed me to bridge design with practicality- I understand real homes, real families and the balance between beauty and function.
